Reaching The Unreached
Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital (ADEH), is a tertiary, community based eye institute. ADEH is a unit of Arunodaya Charitable Trust (ACT), a registered, not for profit, public, medical, welfare trust, that works in the field of curable blindness, in Gurgaon, Haryana and the NCR region, in India.
ADEH is striving to make 33 villages eye care free, and is providing regular eye care clinics / camps, with eye related awareness activities.
World Glaucoma week ( March 6-14, 2015), will be celeberated in these villages, by creating awareness about the devastating effects of untreated Glaucoma, providing medical / laser / surgical care, when indicated.
Patients attending ADEH , in Gurgaon, will also be sensitised to Glaucoma, during this week.
A target rural population of nearly 50,000 is expected to benefit, from the World Glaucoma Week programme, conducted by ADEH / ACT.
ADEH / ACT invite Int’l volunteers in humanitarian eye care, to join us in our crusade, to reverse the tide of curable blindness.
Accomodation is available in our ADEH campus ( twin bed A/C room), with all modern facilities.
