Gloria’s Glaucoma World
Gloria’s Glaucoma World is a music video featuring Gloria, a fictional elderly woman with primary open-angle glaucoma, who sings about the trials and tribulations of undergoing a range of ophthalmic tests. The content is inspired by findings from the Patient Experience of Eye Examination eValuation Study (PEEEVS), a mixed-methods study developed by Professor Graham Lee and Professor Peter Shah. Using a 12-item visual analogue scale (VAS) and semi-structured interviews, the study explored patient experiences across multiple domains of the ophthalmic consultation journey, with a particular focus on eye examination.
