The Anuradhapura Glaucoma Screening Camp was conducted following a public awareness programme. Approximately 450 patients were screened during the camp. Several patients with very high intraocular pressure were identified and required hospital admission. In addition, a number of patients with glaucoma were detected during the screening. Fundus photographs were taken, intraocular pressure was measured, and appropriate follow-up arrangements were made for the patients who required further management.
