On the occasion of World Glaucoma Week, a series of glaucoma screening camps were conducted at Best Vision Center, Sulemaniya, under the leadership of Dr. Dere Latif. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the early detection and management of glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness. During the camp, patients underwent comprehensive eye examinations including intraocular pressure measurement, optic nerve evaluation, and glaucoma risk assessment. The activity also focused on educating patients about the importance of regular eye check-ups, treatment adherence, and timely intervention. The camp successfully reached a large number of patients in the community and reinforced the importance of proactive glaucoma screening and prevention.
