Indore Divisional Ophthalmological Society (IDOS) cordially invites media
representatives to cover The Glaucoma Awareness Rally 2026
To raise awareness about Glaucoma (Kaanchbind) – a silent but potentially
blinding eye disease that often shows no early symptoms, the Indore
Divisional Ophthalmological Society (IDOS) is organizing a Glaucoma
Awareness Walk in Indore.
This initiative is being organized as part of World Glaucoma Week (8th to
14th March), during which awareness activities are conducted worldwide
under the aegis of the World Glaucoma Association to educate people
about early detection and prevention of glaucoma all over the world.
This public awareness rally aims to educate citizens about the importance
of regular eye check-ups for early detection and prevention of this blinding
disease.

Honorable Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya ji has given his kind
consent to be our guest of honor for this event.
Leading ophthalmologists of Indore along with their families, clinic staff,
community leaders and citizens will participate in the walk to spread
awareness about glaucoma.
The rally will be followed by breakfast.
The event will also feature:

• Participation of leading eye specialists of Indore
