In support of World Glaucoma Week, this educational initiative brings together an optometrist and ophthalmologist to raise awareness about glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. The discussion focuses on understanding glaucoma, why it is called the “silent thief of sight,” and the importance of early detection through regular eye examinations. The activity also highlights the collaborative role of optometrists and ophthalmologists in protecting patients’ vision through timely detection, referral, and co-management.
