SUMMARY:The Romanian Society of Glaucoma Congress
DESCRIPTION:The Romanian Society of Glaucoma Congress 2026 was held from 26
  February to 1 March 2026\, at Hotel Kronwell\, Brașov\, Romania.\n\nAs a
  longstanding tradition\, this annual event is held each year during this 
 period\, close to World Glaucoma Week\, to support glaucoma awareness and 
 highlight the importance of early diagnosis and updated glaucoma managemen
 t among ophthalmologists.\n\nThe 2026 edition brought together a carefully
  developed scientific programme and invited distinguished Romanian special
 ists alongside renowned international lecturers.\nThe congress aimed to su
 pport continuous medical education\, encourage the exchange of clinical ex
 perience and current knowledge\, present recent advances in glaucoma diagn
 osis and treatment\, and strengthen collaboration between Romanian ophthal
 mologists and the international glaucoma community. At the same time\, the
  event sought to emphasize the importance of multidisciplinary dialogue an
 d of aligning local practice with current international standards in glauc
 oma care.\n
