DESCRIPTION:Organized under the campaign of the Thai Glaucoma Society (ThGS
 )\n\nDuring World Glaucoma Week 2026\, Surat Thani Hospital participated i
 n the nationwide campaign coordinated by the Thai Glaucoma Society. The ho
 spital organized glaucoma awareness and screening activities for patients 
 and the public\, including glaucoma risk assessment\, intraocular pressure
  measurement\, optic nerve evaluation\, and patient education on glaucoma 
 prevention and treatment.\n\nThese activities were conducted by the ophtha
 lmology team at Surat Thani Hospital as part of the national effort to pro
 mote early detection of glaucoma and to increase public awareness about th
 is silent cause of vision loss. The initiative aligns with the Thai Glauco
 ma Society’s mission to reduce preventable blindness through community e
 ngagement\, education\, and accessible eye care services across Thailand.
