DESCRIPTION:Organized under the campaign of the Thai Glaucoma Society (ThGS
 )\n\nDuring World Glaucoma Week 2026\, Phuket Province participated in the
  nationwide campaign coordinated by the Thai Glaucoma Society. Glaucoma aw
 areness and screening activities were organized across healthcare faciliti
 es in the province for patients and the public\, including glaucoma risk a
 ssessment\, intraocular pressure measurement\, optic nerve evaluation\, an
 d patient education on glaucoma prevention and treatment.\n\nThese activit
 ies were conducted by ophthalmology teams across Phuket Province as part o
 f the national effort to promote early detection of glaucoma and to increa
 se public awareness about this silent cause of vision loss. The initiative
  aligns with the Thai Glaucoma Society’s mission to reduce preventable b
 lindness through community engagement\, education\, and accessible eye car
 e services across Thailand.
