 ation Medicinska mreža is organizing a Social Media Awareness Campaign as
  part of Glaucoma Week\, now in its fourth consecutive year.\n\nThe core a
 ctivity of the campaign is the use of a visual filter that simulates glauc
 oma-related vision loss\, particularly peripheral field loss and tubular v
 ision. Each year\, we actively involve medical professionals\, public figu
 res\, influencers\, and content creators\, who publish a photo or story us
 ing this filter on their social media profiles\, accompanied by educationa
 l messages about glaucoma.\n\nThrough this approach\, we achieve a reach o
 f over 1 million people annually\, significantly increasing public awarene
 ss of the silent and irreversible nature of vision loss caused by glaucoma
 .\n\nIn addition to the filter-based posts\, during Glaucoma Week we publi
 sh daily educational content explaining:\n\nthe main characteristics of gl
 aucoma\n\nrisk factors and the importance of early detection\n\nthe role o
 f regular ophthalmological examinations\n\nthe consequences of untreated d
 isease\n\nThe campaign is designed to translate complex medical informatio
 n into clear\, emotionally impactful visual messages\, making glaucoma und
 erstandable to the general public and motivating individuals to seek preve
 ntive eye examinations.\n\nThis long-term\, continuously growing activity 
 has proven to be an effective tool for public health education\, early dis
 ease awareness\, and community engagement.
