 The 9th World Glaucoma Week will be held on March 6th -12th\, 2016. The ma
 in theme will be to expand global awareness of the “Silent Thief of Sigh
 t”. The eye disease causes painless and irreversible blindness. The acti
 on call for this campaign is to educate communities on glaucoma awareness 
 and the need for regular eye checks to reduce global blindness.\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\nThe activities planned for the 2016 World Glaucoma Week include:\n\n&n
 bsp\;\n\n	Distribution of posters and patient information leaflets which w
 ill educate the public on glaucoma awareness.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n	Campaigns thr
 ough print\, television\, radio\, and other forms of electronic media on g
 laucoma awareness.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n	Free glaucoma screening within selected 
 Eye Centers during the week. (Kindly check the poster attached that contai
 ns the selected Eye Centers).\n\n
