 eaching Hospital Abakaliki (AEFUTHA) commemorates the World Glaucoma Week 
 2023 (WGW2023) from 12-18 March 2023.\n\n*Highlights of  14/03/2023 commem
 oration (DAY 3)*\n\nThe members of MWAN Ebonyi in collaboration with Depar
 tment of Ophthalmology AEFUTHA were in Abakaliki Correctional Centre today
  where 158 inmates had their eyes screened (Visual Acuity and Fundoscopy w
 ere done). Eye glasses were provided for 128 of them and 30 were diagnosed
  of suspected Glaucoma and referred to AEFUTHA for follow up. \n\nTwenty-T
 wo (22) MWAN Ebonyi and 2 Young Doctors Forum Sisters were there to carry 
 out the outreach as well as other members of the department of Ophthalmolo
 gy AEFUTHA (including male ophthalmologists\, ophthalmic nurses\, optometr
 ists\, records staff among others).\n
