SUMMARY:KITS FOR PATIENTS\, GREEN RIBBON PIN
DESCRIPTION:To raise awareness of glaucoma among patients and their familie
 s\, the Instituto de Oftalmología y Glaucoma Vásquez has sent 500 of its
  glaucoma patients a special personalized kit. These 500 patients were fir
 st contacted by phone by the Institute's staff to ensure their participati
 on and interest in becoming ambassadors in their communities.\nEach patien
 t received the kit in the comfort of their homes\, which contains:\n\n•	
 A letter signed by the treating doctor with information about the importan
 ce of being part of the World Glaucoma Week as a patient.\n•	A formal an
 d fancy invitation and instructions to participate in the webinar “Livin
 g with glaucoma” for patients and their families organized by the Instit
 ute.\n•	Some educational information about glaucoma.\n•	A green ribbon
  pin to be worn during the world glaucoma week.\n
