DESCRIPTION:In honour of WGW 2022 observances\, three activities are planne
 d:\n\n1. Awareness Sessions on Radio and TV\nInterviews with Eye Care prof
 essionals will be done with the Department of Public Information\, 98.1 FM
  NCN Radio and Guyana Today TV Show where public awareness information abo
 ut Glaucoma\, such as screening for Glaucoma\, and Treatment of Glaucoma\,
  will be disseminated.\n\n2. An Awareness Booth at the Georgetown Public H
 ospital\nA booth will be set up at the Georgetown Public Hospital East Str
 eet Foyer during Glaucoma Week\, where the general public can receive info
 rmation and pamphlets about Glaucoma and also General Eye Screening inform
 ation.  \n\n3. Vision Screening Outreaches\nTwo Vision Screening Outreache
 s sponsored by NGO – the George Subraj Foundation – will be done in th
 e Berbice Region. This will be done in collaboration with the Region 6 Hea
 lth Services. Free Eye Screening and distribution of readers and sunglasse
 s will be done at two locations (Chesney-Fyrish Village on 5th March 2022 
 and No. 57 Village on 6th March 2022). In addition to Vision Testing\, Blo
 od Sugar and Blood Pressure testing will be done. Region 6 Health Services
  will also provide additional services such as Dental\, Ultrasound\, Vacci
 nation and Blood Donation Drive. \n
