 rs' Meeting\, Glaucoma Research Society of Canada presents the Albert Waxe
 r Lecture\, habitually presented by a recipient of a grant from GRSC's mos
 t recent campaign season. \n\nIn 2021 ASM Dr. Sogbesan presented his initi
 al findings for his research project. He hopes his Virtual Reality App wil
 l motivate newly diagnosed glaucoma patients to adhere to their medication
 s\; will help others better understand the vision loss experienced by many
  glaucoma patients\; and will improve the overall quality of life of glauc
 oma patients.\n\nGlaucoma Research Society of Canada funds glaucoma resear
 ch across Canada and relays the latest findings to its supporters on a reg
 ular basis through their website\, a bi-annual newsletter and through even
 ts such as this. Costs are kept minimal in order to fund as much research 
 as possible - GRSC is fortunate to have an amazing community of supporters
