DESCRIPTION:Guyana World Glaucoma Week 2015 – Grand Public Screening Even
 t\n\nThis year\, in observance of World Glaucoma Week\, the Ministry of He
 alth and the Guyana Vision 2020 Committee in collaboration with the George
 town Public Hospital\, EyeCare Guyana\, the Guyana Association of Optometr
 ists and Ansa McCal Group of Companies will be hosting a Grand Glaucoma S
 creening Exercise – Check your eyes for Glaucoma – on Thursday March 1
 2th 2015 at Fogarty’s Ground Floor from 10am to 3pm. Ophthalmoligists\, 
 optometrists\, nurses and optometry students will be present at a booth to
  screen all members of the general public for glaucoma. Vision testing\, E
 ye pressure testing and examination of the eye nerve will be done. The Guy
 ana information pamphlet on glaucoma will be distributed also at this loca
 tion. The exercise is intended to provide an opportunity for members of th
 e public who have never had their eyes checked for glaucoma to enter at th
 eir own free will.
