DESCRIPTION:The International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) Task Force on 
 Glaucoma is developing Glaucoma Treatment Guidelines that can be used in h
 igh\, medium\, or low resource settings around the world.\n\nPlease email 
 info@icoph.org if you...\n\n	Know of organizational or institutional guide
 lines to assess and manage glaucoma.\n	Know of reports on glaucoma public 
 health programs and their outcomes\nhttp://www.icoph.org/enhancing_eyecare
 /glaucoma.html\n\nThe ICO Task Force will work to:\n\n1. Collect existing 
 guidelines and develop consensus on technical guidelines to evaluate and m
 anage glaucoma. The Guidelines will be available for adaptation and transl
 ation\, with appropriate credit.\n\n2. Incorporate the critical competenci
 es into ICO curricula and stimulate improved training and continuing profe
 ssional development to meet public needs.\n\n3. Develop a framework to eva
 luate public health approaches and stimulate\, develop\, strengthen\, and 
 monitor relevant health systems.\n\nThe Guidelines will be available for t
 ranslation or adaptation\, with appropriate credit to the ICO and any part
