SUMMARY:Glaucoma Screening programme
DESCRIPTION:A glaucoma screening camp was conducted at the Navy Hospital\, 
 Welisara\, Colombo\, for personnel of the Sri Lanka Tri-Forces (Navy\, Arm
 y\, and Air Force) and their family members.\n\nDuring the screening progr
 amme\, intraocular pressure was measured\, fundus examinations were perfor
 med\, and fundus photographs were taken for individuals suspected of havin
 g glaucoma.\n\nThe programme also highlighted the importance of regular ey
 e check-ups for the early detection of glaucoma\, as it can cause irrevers
 ible blindness if left untreated. However\, blindness due to glaucoma is l
 argely preventable with early diagnosis and proper treatment. Participants
  were also educated on the causes and risk factors of glaucoma and the imp
 ortance of timely screening.
