DESCRIPTION:As part of World Glaucoma Week 2026\, Precise Speciality Eye Ca
 re\, Adoor successfully organized a Glaucoma Awareness Walkathon on 8th Ma
 rch 2026 with enthusiastic participation from the public\, healthcare prof
 essionals\, and well-wishers.\n\nThe event began on an energetic note with
  a lively Zumba session\, setting a vibrant and positive tone for the morn
 ing and motivating participants to take part in the awareness walk.\n\nThe
  program started with a warm welcome address by Dr. Jayaram V R\, Chairman
  of Precise Group of Eye Hospitals\, who emphasized the importance of earl
 y detection and regular eye examinations to prevent vision loss caused by 
 glaucoma.\n\nDr. Shane Mathew\, President of Pathanamthitta Opthalmic Asso
 ciation administered the Glaucoma Awareness Oath\, encouraging participant
 s to spread awareness about the disease and the importance of timely eye c
 heck-ups.\n\nThe walkathon was flagged off by Sri. Aneesh Abraham\, Sub In
 spector of Adoor Police Station\, marking the beginning of the awareness m
 arch from KSRTC Bus Stand Junction\, Adoor\, to Precise Speciality Eye Car
 e\, Karuvatta\, Adoor.\n\nThe walkathon strongly highlighted an important 
 message: Glaucoma is a “Silent Killer of Vision.”\nMany people may not
  notice symptoms until significant vision loss occurs. Regular eye check-u
 ps are essential for early detection and prevention of blindness.\n\nThe e
 vent witnessed excellent community participation and successfully spread a
 wareness about protecting vision and the importance of eye health.\n\nPrec
