DESCRIPTION:As part of Glaucoma Awareness Day on March 12\, 2026\, we at Dr
 . Rani Menon Maxivision Eye Hospital proudly organised a series of impactf
 ul initiatives under the banner “Velicham” to spread awareness about g
 laucoma and promote eye health within the community.\nThrough this initiat
 ive\, we offered free glaucoma and comprehensive eye check-ups across our 
 branches\, along with a 15% discount on all surgeries and eyeglasses\, mak
 ing quality eye care more accessible to the public.\nAt our Thrissur branc
 h\, the programs were conducted from March 10 to March 13\, 2026. Our Guru
 vayoor branch hosted activities from March 11 to March 12\, 2026\, while t
 he Wadakkanchery branch carried out programs from March 11 to March 13\, 2
 026. The Kunnamkulam branch extended the initiative from March 9 to March 
 14\, 2026\, ensuring wider reach and participation.\nTo further amplify aw
 areness\, we organized a marathon and a flash mob in Thrissur\, engaging t
 he public and encouraging conversations around glaucoma prevention and ear
 ly detection. We also conducted an awareness class and cultural programs a
 t an indoor auditorium\, creating an informative and engaging platform for
  the community.\nThrough “Velicham\,” we reaffirm our commitment to sa
 feguarding vision and empowering people with the knowledge to take proacti
 ve steps towards eye health.
