OPSM and Glaucoma Australia are joining forces for World Glaucoma Week to offer free glaucoma risk assessment screenings to the public and ice-cream sandwiches as a reward for getting tested. While there’s no proven cure yet for glaucoma, early detection and treatment can slow progression or stop the disease.

Choose from a vanilla or chocolate ice-cream sandwich, and eat it safe in the knowledge you’ve reduced your odds of developing Australia’s leading cause of avoidable blindness. If the assessment highlights there may be a risk, there’s an option to get an eye pressure test and an assessment with an on-site optometrist.

From 11am to 2pm.
