DESCRIPTION:The Somali Blind Union (SBU) was established in 3rd February 20
 21. It is the first national organization representing blind and partially
  sighted people across Somalia. It is organized and managed by inspired me
 dical doctors as well as people with visual impairment. It aims to seek th
 e rights of blind and partially sighted people\, encourage their independe
 nce and self-determination\, and strive for equality\, equity and opportun
 ities. \n\nAt SBU\,  we aspire to create an environment in which no one is
  needlessly visually impaired\, where everyone has access to the best poss
 ible standard of eye health\, and where those with irreparable vision loss
  achieve their full potential.\n
